topics. The pages are clean and the links good. Housed on the Discovery
Channel site, it is consistently rated as one of the best homwork help
sites on the Internet.
FactMonster
This is a well-organized site divided into clear, easy-to-understand sections
(math, science, current events, etc) Good graphics and a homework category
with useful tips on English, geography, history, math, science and social
studies.
Homework
Spot
This site is not as well-organized as Fact Monster, but features similar
subject structure (once you make your way into the site). Includes a "study
break" section with educational word and logic games.
Library
of Congress
Several links provide help with research. America's Library is designed
with kids in mind. The "Ask a Librarian" link has a virtual
reference shelf with quick answers to many general questions, plus children
can send in a question to be answered within 5 business days.

This site provides links to fun and informative places with the younger
kids in mind. It also provides homework help which is divided into subjects.

This free encyclopedia rivals the subscription competition. Substantial
