Sixth Annual Freshman Falcon Fest!
In an effort to make the freshman transition from middle school to Cox as smooth as possible, we will host or award-winning and sixth annual "Freshman Falcon Fest," a half-day orientation program for rising ninth-graders, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August, 20, 2008.
This exciting day is designed to help familiarize students with our program s and building prior to the opening of school on Tuesday, September 2. Topics covered by the members of our faculty and staff include time management, study skills, the use of the student planner (provided free of charge to each Cox student during the first week of classes), and planning for the future.
A complimentary lunch will be provided to during the program. In addition students may ride buses to and from school that day, according to the summer school routing schedules link below. Parents are asked to ensure that their students are at their designated stops no later than 7:15 a.m. on August 20th. If you have questions or special needs please contact the school.

PTSA Board Meeting
The first PTSA Board meeting will be held on Monday, August 18th, at 6:00 p.m. in the library. New volunteers are always welcome! Please join us, if your schedule allows.
Signup for Behind the Wheel
Pre-registration for Behind the Wheel driver education instruction will be conducted at Cox High School on Thursday, August 28, from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., in the auditorium foyer for junior and senior classmen. Bring your permit and your schedule to registration.
2008 Yearbooks
