Summer School 2009 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 30 for all levels. The cluster schools meeting at Frank W. Cox High School this summer include Bayside, Cox, Princess Anne and SECEP ACP/EBICS. Please note that any senior needing 2 classes must attend summer school at Ocean Lakes regardless of his or her home school. Students interested in online courses should click here. ***NOTES: Payment by check cash or credit card. Cost for summer school classes - $300 for yearlong classes, and $200 for semester courses. See Summer Programs booklet for need based tuition adjustments.

Registration Form
Summer Fast Track Tutoring is offered for students who have passed a class but who have failed to pass the corresponding SOL test. It consists of 25 hours of small group instruction followed by a retake of the SOL test. The course is free and transportation is provided. Students must register during the regular Summer School registration window.

Transportation
Bus transportation is provided for Virginia Beach City Public Schools’ students to and from school, based on each school’s transportation zone. CLICK HERE to look up bus information for your child. Students riding a bus to school must be at their stop no earlier than five minutes before regular pickup time. The Code of Student Conduct outlines the conduct for all students while riding a school bus. Bus routes, pickup times, and safety tips are posted on www.vbschools.com and are available at every school prior to the beginning of the school year. Students must ride their assigned buses. Extenuating circumstances requiring a bus change must be submitted in writing with a contact telephone number and approved in advance by the administration.
